Marsh Creek Cleanup

Saturday, September 25th

9AM to Noon

Join hundreds of your friends, neighbors and classmates as we cleanup Marsh Creek on California Coastal Cleanup Day. Last year over 600 volunteers removed over 2 tons of trash from 14 miles of creek.

Help make a difference!

Help make it a GREENER Event:

This year we are making an effort to decrease the amount of plastic bags we use in order to be more green! Bring a bucket or something to gather trash in that is reuseable or recycleable!

Sites:

There are six sites being cleaned up this year. Four in Brentwood and two in Oakley. Please register for the site you would like to work at.

Some sites have changed this year.

Registration:

Please register on this site and then download the waiver located at

http://fomcw.org/files/2010CCWaiver.pdf

Families can all go on one waiver.

Check List:

  • Bring your signed waiver- this helps make things go faster!
  • Waiver can be downloaded at the link at the bottom of this page.
  • Wear sun protection, closed toe shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather.
  • Bring work gloves and a bucket or reuseable/ recycleable container to collect trash in.

(We will have bags and latex gloves for those that need them!)

Celebrations will follow the Cleanup at

Veterans Park in Brentwood

and OAKLEY'S Creekside Park.
